Radha Damodar: We were walking along and Kurushresta said to Srila Prabhupada, “Srila Prabhupada, Radha Damodar das sometimes does one hundred books at the library and at the zoo on Saturdays.” I didn’t even know that Prabhupada knew my 7 name. Prabhupada was way in front with so many sannyasis and big shots when he immediately jumped off the sidewalk, hopped over a little rock and came right up to me at the back of the crowd and said, “Oh, big books?” I said, “No, Srila Prabhupada, mostly coloring books and small.” He said, “Oh, small.” I was surprised that he knew me personally. It was a real big thing for me because he had thousands of disciples and when Kurushresta mentioned my name, Srila Prabhupada ran right over to me and wanted to know about the book distribution. |
