Written articles
  • Encyclopedic
    • Basic educational articles covering single, straightforward subjects
  • Topics
    • More complex issues and compound subjects
    • Should simply present Prabhupada and not an author's thesis or chosen perspective


Reference articles
  • Thematic compilations
    • Headings divide specific themes or messages, followed by references
    • May select quotes to show - however, references should be as complete as possible
    • Lead readers to Prabhupada with some prior orientation and analysis but little synthesis
  • Reference-only
    • Similar to written article, only just part 2 (references)
    • Could be precursor to future written article
    • May include author's notes (e.g.
    • Should be broken into sections
    • Lead readers directly to Prabhupada with some orientation and little information up front
